Troubleshooting, privacy, security, and uninstall
Use this guide to diagnose the plan, evidence, and XLSX workflows without changing WooCommerce stock or exposing customer data.
Common problems
| Problem | What to check | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No products match | Brand/category terms, exact SKUs, child categories, variation identity, product type, non-inventory exclusion | Correct the scope and recalculate a narrow exact-SKU plan. Use all physical products only when intentional. |
| Manual or insufficient row | Known availability days, unknown history, Calendar Estimate choice, price-period filter | Start or restore tracking, import verified history, use an appropriate Calendar Estimate, select all price periods where required, or enter a reviewed manual quantity. |
| No usable sales | Date range, processing/completed/refunded status, order source, selected product, refund evidence | Correct the period or scope, inspect created_via exclusions and custom filters, or enable the bounded older-history fallback when representative. |
| Unexpected quantity | Units/day, stock, eligible incoming, lead time, coverage, safety days, minimum stock, pack, MOQ, budget | Open Calculation and rules, resolve the evidence or rule causing the result, then recalculate. |
| XLSX rejected | Actual file type, size, protection, macros, external links, formulas, worksheet/header choice, mapping | Save a clean standard XLSX, unprotect the input sheet, remove active/external content, paste required values, and upload again. |
Privacy and external communication
The Free plugin calculates plans and processes XLSX files locally. It defines no public REST route and makes no remote HTTP request for forecasting, telemetry, or licensing. A supplier export leaves WordPress only when an authorized operator sends it using an external process.
Deactivation
Deactivation stops scheduled observation. The gap cannot later be reconstructed from a current stock snapshot, so future plans may show more unknown availability time. Reactivate and verify tracking before relying on new evidence.
Uninstall and data retention
Uninstall clears the scheduled scan hook but intentionally retains the plugin’s private operational tables, including historical observations, supplier rules, and purchasing documents. It does not delete WooCommerce products, orders, coupons, or stock. Decide and implement any permanent data-removal policy through an authorized, backed-up administrative process; this is operational guidance, not legal advice.
Getting support
Provide WordPress, PHP, WooCommerce, and Purchase Planner versions; the page and workflow; exact visible message; a sanitized SKU or fictional reproduction; the selected period and availability choice; and whether the issue concerns selection, sales, tracking, supplier rules, purchase state, or XLSX validation. Remove customer names, addresses, emails, order contents, credentials, and commercially sensitive supplier data unless support explicitly requests a secure sanitized sample.
