PANTHEON Write Safety Policy

This is the permanent reference for the current stable product write model. It describes supported directions and gates without granting any generic write capability.

Controlled WooCommerce writes

Supported, module-specific operations include PANTHEON stock → WooCommerce stock, PANTHEON regular retail price → WooCommerce regular_price, and PANTHEON EAN → the configured WooCommerce GTIN source. Price Control never changes sale_price. Stock Reconciliation never sends WooCommerce stock to PANTHEON.

Controlled PANTHEON write

The only supported PANTHEON master-data write is EAN/GTIN insert or update through a supported, confirmed, locked and allowlisted adapter. Each write requires an active commercial entitlement, the required administrator capability, a valid nonce, Go Live, Dry Run OFF, confirmed and locked mappings, a targeted live re-read, duplicate/equivalent GTIN ownership protection, read-back verification and an audit trail.

An unknown or custom GTIN storage source may be confirmed for reading and reconciliation but never gains PANTHEON write capability automatically.

Explicit non-capabilities

The plugin has no generic PANTHEON write path for WooCommerce stock, WooCommerce regular prices, product names, supplier, classification, VAT, arbitrary master data/tables or arbitrary documents. It does not create or write 9910 documents and does not confirm PANTHEON documents automatically.
