PANTHEON Data Discovery & Schema Mapping
PANTHEON installations can expose different tables, fields, document conventions and business values. Data Discovery provides bounded, read-oriented evidence so an administrator and the merchant PANTHEON partner can identify the correct sources without guessing.
Auto-discover → Review candidates → Confirm → Lock → Ready
Run discovery
Test the PAWS connection first. Run read-only discovery with a small sample size and only the configured or explicitly requested document types/tables. Core probes are bounded; large transactional data such as tHE_MoveItem is inspected only through a bounded document key rather than an unrestricted table scan.
Review evidence
Review returned field names, redacted sample values and semantic candidates for SKU, GTIN, regular price, supplier, classification, document identity, date, status, warehouse and quantity. A candidate shows possible evidence only. Ambiguous candidates are never auto-confirmed.
Confirm and Lock
Select the source that matches the merchant workflow, confirm it explicitly, then Lock the protected mapping. Module readiness depends on the required confirmed and locked state. If a confirmed source changes, its previous lock is invalidated and the module returns to Not Ready until reviewed again.
Diagnostics
Export diagnostics as JSON or XLSX when the on-screen evidence must be reviewed or shared with support. The report contains bounded schema fields, redacted samples, candidate evidence and workflow stage; it excludes stored credentials and authentication secrets. Never send PAWS, WordPress or database passwords, license keys or API secrets.
Discovery never writes to PANTHEON and never grants write capability to an unknown adapter. Continue with the Configuration Reference and the applicable module guide.
