Leanmerce Commerce Assistant

Merchant details, returns contacts and Terms

Commerce Assistant uses information supplied by the merchant and selected WooCommerce settings to support its Setup Wizard and BiH-oriented Audit. The plugin is not the authoritative registrar of your legal identity and does not create legally reviewed Terms on your behalf.

Identify the seller correctly

In Leanmerce → Commerce Assistant → Setup → Step 2, provide the merchant’s legal name, registration number, registration authority, tax identifier, business address, city, postal code, phone and email. Enter a trading name or website address where applicable. Choose whether the business is VAT-registered; if you select that option, supply the VAT number required by the form.

Choose the actual establishment: Federation of BiH, Republika Srpska, or Brčko District. This influences the wizard’s applicable guidance; it does not change where the business is legally established.

Verification: Compare the saved information with your real business records and public contact information. Do not use fabricated identifiers to clear field validation.

Complaints and returns

In Step 3, identify at least one valid complaint channel (such as an email or phone) and the return contact approach that matches your business. You can reuse complaint contacts for returns or enter separate return contacts. The structured return-address fields let you provide recipient, street, postal code, city and country; alternatively, select the merchant-address option if that is genuinely the return destination.

If you choose a separate structured address, complete the required address components. The wizard preserves certain older free-text values for migration compatibility; those legacy values should not be treated as a substitute for keeping new public instructions clear and up to date.

Offers, warranty and supplier relationships

The wizard also asks whether the store provides appropriate offer-validity and warranty information. These are self-declarations. Check them only when you have made the information available to customers.

If another party is the contractual supplier, select the separate contract supplier relationship and provide the requested details. Do not treat a marketplace, warehouse, distributor and legal seller as automatically interchangeable.

Connect the real WooCommerce Terms page

  1. Prepare and publish your own Terms and Conditions page in WordPress.
  2. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced and select that page as the WooCommerce Terms and Conditions page.
  3. Open Commerce Assistant → Setup → Step 4. The wizard should show the page as connected when the canonical resolver finds a published page with a usable URL.
  4. If needed, use the wizard’s published-page selector and save to bind the WooCommerce setting.
  5. Use Open page to review what a customer can actually access; return and run the Audit.

Do not select a draft, deleted, blank or inaccessible page merely to satisfy the Audit. Confirmations that Terms are accessible/saveable, that the order process provides the required information, and that payment-obligation wording is appropriate should reflect the real checkout experience.

Contract-formation configuration does not create a Free contract

Step 4 includes an order-created/payment-completed/order-status/custom-provider configuration. The setting is not a claim that Free automatically produces a legally complete distance-sales contract. Commerce Assistant Free’s PDF output remains an order confirmation only.
