Leanmerce Commerce Assistant

Complete the seven-step Setup Wizard

The Setup Wizard walks through the configuration and merchant confirmations used by Commerce Assistant’s BiH-oriented Audit and optional Basic PDF. The fields describe your real business and selected WooCommerce settings; do not tick a declaration simply to make a warning disappear.

Open WordPress Admin → Leanmerce → Commerce Assistant → Setup. The plugin displays a seven-step navigation and the current step number. Save draft retains valid working information without advancing; Next validates and advances. You can use Back to revisit a previous step.

Step 1 — Languages and detected store

Choose the admin language (Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian or English). In the advanced language controls, choose the default document language and which customer/document languages are enabled. At least one enabled language is required. The detected-store panel shows WooCommerce version, order storage (HPOS/legacy), checkout type, currency and site locale. This panel reports detected configuration; it does not replace your WooCommerce settings.

Verify: The selected admin language changes the wizard text. The document-language setting may differ from the admin language; it does not automatically follow every customer’s language.

Step 2 — Merchant identity

Enter the registered legal name, registration number and authority, tax identifier, address, city, postal code, phone and contact email. Additional fields include trading/registered-name details, website and VAT registration. When VAT registration is selected, the VAT number becomes required by the wizard. Choose the establishment: Federation of BiH, Republika Srpska or Brčko District.

Verify: The fields describe the seller actually named in your store information. If the merchant is not VAT-registered, do not invent a VAT number or claim VAT registration.

Step 3 — Distance sales and customer contacts

Review the self-declared confirmations for distance-sale registration and applicable physical-goods scope. Set complaint and returns contact channels; if they differ, use separate details. The form also supports a structured returns postal address and a setting to use the merchant address. Complete the offer-validity and warranty-information declarations only when the corresponding store information is genuinely provided.

Indicate whether you sell across BiH entities/districts. If a different contract supplier is involved, choose the separate supplier relationship and supply its details instead of marking it as the same legal seller without checking.

Verify: A real customer can find the stated complaint and return channels on your store. The wizard does not create these customer-facing pages for you.

Step 4 — Terms and checkout/contract information

The plugin detects the WooCommerce Terms and Conditions page. If missing, use the link to WooCommerce’s advanced settings to select a published page. You can also choose among published pages from the wizard; the canonical WooCommerce Terms setting remains authoritative.

The wizard presents a contract-formation configuration (order created, payment completed, selected order status or custom provider) and confirmations about checkout information, accessible/saveable Terms and payment-obligation presentation where applicable.

Important: In Free, these are setup/configuration and Audit checks; selecting a contract-formation setting does not mean Free issues a complete contract PDF. Do not publish unsupported claims about which event legally forms a contract.

Step 5 — Payment, delivery and order email

Review the payment gateways and shipping methods detected in WooCommerce. Use the linked WooCommerce settings screens if a method is missing or wrongly configured. Confirm payment/delivery information only if it is actually provided to buyers. The separate Completed means dispatched option must match your own workflow; WooCommerce’s “Completed” status is not universal proof of physical dispatch.

Select a supported existing customer order email for order-document routing. Changing this selection does not automatically send an email from the wizard.

Step 6 — Basic PDF documents

Optionally enable Basic PDF order confirmations and select the eligible customer email that should carry the attachment. Review the delivery preview. Use View PDF or Download sample to inspect a sample in an enabled language. The preview is not a customer order and is not a fiscal document or complete distance-sales contract.

Verify: The PDF content, chosen language and configured routing match your intended workflow. Leaving Basic PDF disabled is allowed if you do not want this optional document.

Step 7 — Audit and completion

Run the Audit. Inspect grouped Blockers, Warnings, Passed and Not applicable findings. Use Go fix to return to the relevant step/field. Re-run the Audit after correcting real information or WooCommerce configuration.

When the latest Audit has no blockers, the wizard offers Finish setup. Completing the wizard records its setup state; it does not provide legal certification or create a Pro contract.

When a step will not advance

Look for the inline field error and the error summary. Typical causes include a missing required merchant identifier, no enabled document language, incomplete returns contact data, a missing VAT number despite VAT registration, or missing supplier details for a separate supplier. Save draft is not proof that all readiness checks passed.
