Concepts and glossary

Location: a merchant-defined place or channel.
Capability: Ships orders, Customer pickup, both, or Information only.
Assignment: explicit Available/Unavailable product state at one location.
Effective availability: the resolved state after explicit values, inheritance/defaults and WooCommerce stock.
Product Default: Pro fallback used only where no saved value resolves.
Stock owner: product or variation that owns WooCommerce/location inventory.
On Hand: recorded physical quantity.
Reserved: quantity temporarily committed to an order flow.
Available: On Hand minus Reserved.
Shipping mapping: converts one WooCommerce method instance into a Leanmerce capability/location rule.
Routing: chooses an eligible location to fulfill a package.
Batch: audited mass operation with stable identity, counts and retained evidence.
Commercial license: future Leanmerce entitlement; not an Inventory API credential.
Integration credential: merchant-created token scoped to read/write and locations.
