Retention and purge

Deactivation keeps data. Default deletion policy also retains data. Core and Pro each have their own purge choice and explicit confirmation. Core purge targets Core options/assignment metadata; Pro purge targets Pro inventory tables/configuration. Never describe Pro deactivation as Core uninstall or license expiry.

Before purge, back up and export any required evidence. Purge is intended to be permanent. Pro must be inactive/deleted before WordPress permits Core deactivation/deletion because it declares Core as a dependency.
